Two Balloons

There’s more than one way to take in the beauty of Lancaster County’s rolling hills and farmland. It is not uncommon to see several hot air balloons on our drive to and from the office at this time of year. These balloonists are nearly ready for take-off. What you can’t see in this photo is all the people watching along the side of the road, probably wishing they could hop in the basket too.

A few weeks ago we mentioned a fabulous barbecue sauce that we use in our Quickie Barbecued Chicken recipe. We love this brand of sauces so much that it is time to share them all with you!

The sauces are from the Cortazzo company and are made right here in Lancaster County, PA, by Chef Scott Martino. He has been a chef in some of Lancaster County’s finest restaurants. A few years ago he started his own company, making tomato sauces and barbecue sauces based on his family’s recipes.
