Boy, we sure like our coffee routine in the morning: smelling the brewing beans, listening to the gurgling coffee pot, and, finally, slurping that strong cup of joe before racing out the door.
But in the evening, when we’re ready to settle down with a good book, we’re looking for a soothing cup of tea.
So, just before supper, we whip up a cooker full of Autumn Tea and let the flavors blend together in the slow cooker while we eat. The tea is ready a short two or three hours later, soon after we've finished washing dishes and are ready to sit down and relax.
The blend of apple juice, cranberry juice, and pumpkin pie spice give this tea a spicy flavor, making it a perfect autumn drink. And though we enjoy sipping Autumn Tea on a calm, quiet evening, we also plan on serving it to guests. The lovely auburn color creates a beautiful presentation.
Making Autumn Tea is quickly turning into an evening tea routine. Of course, we use decaf tea bags. We don’t want to be up all night long!
