Lemony Garlic Asparagus

Ideal slow-cooker size: 2- or 3-qt.
1 lb. asparagus, bottom inch (tough part) removed
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1½ Tbsp. lemon juice
3–4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
¼ tsp. salt
1⁄8 tsp. pepper
1. Spray crock with nonstick spray.
2. Lay asparagus at bottom of crock and coat with the olive oil.
3. Pour the lemon juice over the top, then sprinkle with the garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Cover and cook on Low for 1½–2 hours.
