Cherry Berry Cobbler
Hope Comerford, Clinton Township, MI
Makes 6–8 servings
Prep. Time: 15–20 minutes
Cooking Time: 1½–3 hours
Ideal slow-cooker size: 3- to 5-qt.
8 Tbsp. (1 stick) butter, melted
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 cup turbinado sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup blackberries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup cherries, pitted
1. Spray crock with nonstick spray.
2. In a bowl, mix together the butter, flour, milk, turbinado sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour batter into crock.
3. Arrange the fruit on top of batter.
4. Cover and cook on High 1½–3 hours. It’s finished when the middle is set and juice is bubbling at the edges.
