Today I’m bringing you an entire meal for you to put on the table for Father’s Day! You won’t have to heat up the kitchen with the stove and onion. Instead, you’ll get to utilize those slow-cookers you have and keep calm and cool while you have some much needed fun with Dad. One of my favorite parts of slow cooking is the fact I can get things going in the morning, leave all day and come back to perfectly cooked meals, ready to plate. Let me help make Father’s Day a bit easier for you.
For dinner, you can serve Dad these amazing Easiest Ever BBQ Country Ribs with my German Potato Salad on the side. Both are very simple and easy to put together, but pack lots of flavor for Dad’s big dinner!
Next up is a brand new dessert recipe for you! This is one of my all time favorite’s and has to definitely be in my husband’s top 5 recipes I make. I love berries, but he loves them more! When we go to get frozen yogurt together as a family, my husband ALWAYS tops his with berries….while the rest of us choose chocolate and sprinkles! Hahaha! And of course, he ALWAYS sticks with just plain ole’ Vanilla. A classic choice. This White Chocolate and Mixed Berry Cobbler Cake from Fix-It and Forget-It Favorite Slow Cooker Recipes for Dad has the berries my husband loves so very much with a little bit of chocolate hidden in there just for me 😉 . It will be a “sweet” way to end your day together because there’s something in this recipe everyone will love!
