These fabulous bars, a perfect play on a S’more, are made with little fuss or mess in a slow cooker. Pull together the easy-to-find ingredients, your slow cooker, and an insert (we used a bread pan) and you’re ready to make these tonight!
Seven Layer Bars
Makes 6-8 servings
Prep. Time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 2-3 hours
Ideal slow-cooker size: 4- to 5-qt.
¼ cup melted butter
½ cup graham cracker crumbs
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup butterscotch chips
½ cup flaked coconut
½ cup chopped nuts
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1. Layer ingredients in a bread or cake pan that fits in your slow cooker, in the order listed. Do not stir.
2. Cover and bake on High 2-3 hours, or until firm.
Remove pan and uncover. Let stand 5 minutes.
3. Unmold carefully on plate and cool.
