Think Spring Giveaway!

  • in Did You See This?
  • — 18 Mar, 2013

We turned the clocks forward last week and St. Patrick’s Day was yesterday, so it feels like spring has finally arrived. What better way to celebrate than with a bright and colorful Think Spring Giveaway!

With St. Patrick’s Day fresh on our minds, we selected a pot o’ green gadgets with a pop of bright pink. These are essential staples for every kitchen, which may come in handy for folks immersed in spring cleaning and at a point of replacing some items that should be passed on to that kitchen gadget drawer in the sky.

The Giveaway is: two beautiful individual pie plates by Chantal, Peak Fresh produce saver bags, Progressive Mini Produce Keeper, RSVP 6-qt. stainless steel mixing bowl, Zyliss ice cream scoop, Zak Designs rose colander, Now Designs scrubby dishcloths, and a Mu Microfiber dishtowel.

(Chantal and the other brand name companies do not know that we’re giving away these items.)

TO ENTER

To enter our Think Spring giveaway, just answer the following question in the Comments section of this blog:

What is your favorite food to make to welcome the warmer weather?

Scroll down to the very bottom of the page, type your answer into the Comments section, and you’re entered to win! (Or if you don’t have something to share, just say “Hi.” That’s fine, too.)

THE RULES

Just one entry per person. If you would like to respond to another entry, don’t worry: duplicate comments will be weeded out so everyone has an equal chance to win.

No entries after 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) today, March 18, 2013. We’ll post the one (1) lucky random winner here Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Don’t forget to check back to see if you won!

(The winners will be chosen completely at random. Winning is not based on the quality of your response.)

I love to make stuff on the grill in the spring…. but spring always brings so much work outside cleaning up after all the winter mess. So i depend on my crock pot.now. I pre-cook my ribs for the grill and fully cook chicken breast for salads …and make pulled pork for sandwiches too….That way i always have a great meal…when I come in exhausted….:)

Like Peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, mint, spring onions, leeks, feta cheese, mushrooms any kinds, freash corn off the cob and you get the hint. Mix in some Greek Dressing or some Taziki sauce or Italian dressing. Awesome to have a small bowl in the fresh air outside while I’m knitting outside awwww I can’t wait. Actually, I have two favorites for the warmer weather. One is deviled eggs. I try to make it a different way when I can. I love changing up the ‘additions’. the basics always stay the same..mayo, mustard, minced onion… Then depending on my mood I may add bacon or dill or whatever. My second is macaroni salad. Again I change it up. Having company this week-end, so I am going to try it with black olives, cheddar cheese, and red onion.
Happy Summering to one and all!
