This year’s hottest gift is the tablet computer. Seems like everyone we talk to either has one, has purchased one as a gift, or is thinking of making the leap.
We tend to be fairly traditional book-lovers here at Fix-It and Forget-It. We like our print editions with pages made of paper. Still, there’s something pretty cool about e-books. Stored on your electronic device, they’re right at your fingertips when you’re in the mood to read. Don’t have the book you want? It can be downloaded in about the time it takes you to read this paragraph. You can also read in the dark, which just might be the most compelling feature of all.
Fix-It and Forget-It has also stepped into the world of e-publishing, with e-versions of our recently-released Fix-It and Forget-It PINK Cookbook and our newest venture—booklings! Booklings are bite-sized servings (50 recipes each) of some of our most popular slow-cooker recipes ever, selected by author Phyllis Pellman Good.
Our first series of booklings is available now, just in time for holiday meals and parties. You’ll find Holiday Appetizers, Finger Foods, and Beverages, Holiday Main Dishes and Sides, and Holiday Sweets and Desserts available wherever e-books are sold.
Why not give an e-book or two to the new tablet-owner on your list? That new tablet-owner might even be you.
