Did you get to make all the strawberry recipes you wanted to make? Did you eat your fill? For us, we’ll have to buy imported strawberries the rest of the year if we didn’t get our fill. Lancaster County’s strawberries are mostly done now.
But we want to make a note of this interesting bruschetta for next June. Nicole posted it on her blog, Pinch My Salt. It’s made with strawberries in much the same way traditional, tomato-based bruschetta is made. We like the link between our two favorite seasons: strawberries and tomatoes. Well, we love sweet corn too. Isn’t summer great?
