Slow Cooker Recipe

Pork and Cabbage Dinner

Feature

We attended a banquet this weekend that featured a pork loin main dish. It was wonderfully juicy with a bit of sweet sauce that was made from various fruits and spices.

It prompted our craving for a good pork recipe in the slow cooker. Here is a recipe reminiscent of the flavors that we enjoyed this weekend.

No apples in it for me thank you. Everything else sounds good, with a big slice of cornbread, with no sugar in it.

That one looks so good. I have pork in the freezer, as well as cabbage. All I need is the apple. I’m also wondering how some sweet potatoes would work with it. That’s one I will definitely try as soon as the pork thaws.

Cornbread without sugar is called “southern cornbread” in the South. And sweet potatoes cooked with pork is well known down here. :)
