The Good Cooking Store staff often talk about their “top 10” kitchen necessities. We vary on a few things, but we all agree that a Microplane zester/grater is in the top 10.
Microplane started making kitchen tools in response to a home cook’s discovery – it’s a good story. A home cook was very frustrated with her kitchen zester, and stomped out to her husband’s woodworking shop and grabbed his Microplane rasper. She discovered that his rasper worked much better than her kitchen zester and told all her friends. When Microplane investigated why they were selling so many woodworking raspers in her community, they started to make tools specifically for the kitchen. Now, Microplane is a family-owned company that has been in business for over 20 years.
Their little tools will zest or grate just about anything. They are great for citrus and the courser grater will also work wonderfully for cheese. The finer graters handle spices such as nutmeg or ginger.

I am looking for a recipe for hot chicken sandwiches . There was velveeta cheese in them. It came for fix it & forget it
