Nut-Chopper

When people talk about different gadgets that are staples in their homes, usually somewhere on the list is a nut chopper. Folks, there is a great chopper that beats the one in your grandmother’s kitchen or even your mother’s. You’ll need this one, especially if you’re a baker.

The Progressive Nut Chopper was recently rated best by Cook’s Illustrated. It has a removable base and measurements so that you don’t have to guess about the amount of nuts you’ve chopped. And it offers a stainless steel grinding mechanism that makes the chopping fast and easy.

Check it out before you begin baking this holiday season!

The Progressive Nut Chopper is available at The Good Cooking Store and they do ship. Click here for more information.

I actually DO have a nut chopper that looks very similiar to this. It used to belong to my grandmother, and when she died, I became the owner. I remembered how well it chopped the nuts when I helped her make nutbread during the holidays. I love it.

I have had a similar one to this for over 25 years…I couldn’t live without it! It is one of my go-to items.

I don’t have 1 of these, but if I did I know it would help me save lots of time when I made my zuchini & banana breads(or anything else requiring nuts in them)!!!! 8)

My Mom was just lamenting the fact that she can’t find one of these choppers anymore! So glad to find one again – thanks!

I purchased one that looked similar to this one years ago. Loved it. The glass jar broke & I still kept the top hoping to find a jar that it would fit….never could fit it right. Saw another one in a store, but it was all plastic. Bought it, but the chopper part comes off the jar part when I chop the nuts!!! Hate the new one.
Can this one be used right or left handed without coming apart? I’m left handed & it’s hard to use one of these. Looking for a replacement.
