Top 4 Mexican-inspired Recipes
In the mood for some Mexican-inspired dishes? Try these wonderful slow cooker favorites!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we already wish we had a bigger kitchen. One oven just isn’t big enough when we’re trying to make turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, green beans, and pie. No matter how often we arrange and rearrange the baking dishes in our oven, there’s not enough room for all the food.
But since remodeling the kitchen isn’t really an option, we’re pulling out our slow cookers—every single one we’ve got. Using our slow cookers will free up the oven a bit and makes it easier for us to get everything finished and on the table at the same time. Now we’re not stressing about the Green Bean Casserole or the Fruity Sweet Potatoes. We can throw all the ingredients into our slow cookers and forget about those parts of the meal until dinner is served.
We’re pretty thankful for our slow cookers at this time of year and we think maybe you are too. That’s why we’re giving away the Hamilton Beach 5½ Quart Slow Cooker and the Duo Cook and Serve Crock-Pot to one (1) lucky, random winner!
The best feature of the Hamilton Beach 5½ Quart Slow Cooker—and why we love using it over the holidays—is that the removable stainless steel crock is stovetop safe. That means you can brown meat or onions and garlic in this crock right on the stove and then place the crock straight into the slow cooker! Anything that cuts back on the pots and pans we need to wash after our big meal is just fine with us.
It also has a stainless steel exterior, a glass lid, and a warm setting that keeps food nice and hot without overcooking it.
We think the Duo Cook and Serve Crock-Pot is a life saver, especially on Thanksgiving Day. Each slow cooker is 2.5 quarts, which we think is just the right size for making appetizers or desserts like Hot Beef Dip or Chocolate Fondue.
Though they come as a pair, these Crock-Pots act as individuals. Each has its own setting, each crock can be removed separately, and each comes with its own serving spoons. The crocks are also dishwasher safe.
(Hamilton Beach and Crock-Pot don’t know how much we love using these slow cookers during the holidays or that we’re giving these away.)

Will be using at least one.
3 crockpots in use, 2 for side dishes and one for dessert.
I will be using the one and only I have.
I will use two since that’s all I have! I’d sure like more though.
I only use one, I wish I could afford a few more, I’d put them to work!
1at least
I’ve never used any, but I’m starting to think it would be a great idea!
I love to use my slow cookers at the holidays. I have two that will be going for T-giving.
Probably only one this year.
How many slow cookers will you use to prepare your Thanksgiving meal?
One, because that is all I own, but I have been using it lately for making soups.
I will be using 2
I will use my large one and my buffet one so 4 total?
Always use my crockpot for the mashed potatoes!
I’ve never used a slow-cooker for preparing for Thanksgiving, so it’s time I tried it! I’m going over my menu to see where I could use one or two of them.
I have a small one I use for a dip, and then I’m going to cook a turkey breast in my large slow cooker. So, I’ll be using two! Oh! Maybe I’ll make a hot drink in my other crock pot…so actually three!
Probably 2 or 3 . 2 small ones for hot dips and one larger one for stuffing…
will be using @ least one, maybe two
I will only be using one since I only have one
I will be using atleast two.
3… and hi!
At least one. Might try some apple cider in one too! Although, my mini might be good on the buffet table for gravy. Hmmmmm.
Got me thinking.
Just One.
I will be using at least three, maybe even four!
1 for gravy
1 for sweet potatoes
1 for apples
We will probably use 4 crockpots this year!
I will be using one for my potatoes!
I have 3 crock pots, not in the best of shape, any of them. I will use them to keep things warm while cooking other stuff in the oven. luv my crock pots…I would love to have a nice one for a change. Thanks.
I will use 3, more if I had more
I will be using 2,,love my old crock pots,, need some new updated ones…
I love my crockpot and use at least 2 of them for Thanksgiving plus an electric roaster.
Probably at least two. One for mashed potatoes and one for an appitizer
I’ll be using 2, one for dressing and one to keep gravy warm.
I usually use 3, and now that I found crock pot liners, makes clean-up that much easier.
I’ll use 2, for sure- might have to borrow one or two so I don’t have to keep reheating sides in the microwave
I would love more! Happy Holidays, Fix it & Forget it!
At least 2!
Probably 3.
I wouldn’t have to borrow one anymore.
3, possibly 4. Green bean casserole in a big one, candied sweet potatoes in a smaller one, gravy in a small one, and maybe mashed potatoes in a big one. Won’t do the dressing in one this year, as it didn’t get that crust that we like so much when it’s done in the oven.
I will be using two slow cookers/crock pots for Thanksgiving dinner. I only have one as of now so I will need to borrow one. Dumplings and green beans are amazing when slow cooked all day
Love it!!!
I only have one 6 qt & one “fondue” size one
But I will use them both to capacity!! I will have to pre-make some dishes in order to get them all done
But that is ok….because Thanksgiving is a time for family!! And I love all the compliments they give me on my cooking!! Special family request is “brookville corn” which I make in the crockpot.
I will use two a very large roaster or slow cooker for my turkey and a smaller one for the cranbery meatball recipe.
Prob 2!
None this year, but I’m thinking I might crock an entire Thanksgiving dinner on some day OTHER than Thanksgiving itself just so I can prove to myself that I can do it.
At least two, if not three. Can not wait!!
I will use 4. One for the turkey, one for the stuffing, one for the ham and one to put the cream cheese mashed potatoes in to keep them warm. I have to use all 4 cause my oven decided to die:(
I would absolutely LOVE to win this since I will probably need about 5 slow cookers for Christmas dinner, have 2 big families that will get together at my house so I need all the help I can get and this would help out alot …… I’ll be the only one doing the cooking, thank you !
I will be using 3 crockpots.
I use several for green beans casserole and stuffing. But my favorite it to use it for mashed potatoes!
will use 1 – it’s a very small one…. could really use a bigger one!!
I used one, to heat and serve the gravy I had made the day before. We had cooked 2 turkeys the day before as well. Fed 28 people and everything was awesomely delicious.
