It’s that time of year again. Every weekend, we’re huddling around the TV with family and friends. Usually someone’s biting their nails in nervous anticipation while someone else yells at the guys on the screen. Oh and then there’s lots of jumping up and down and cheering and high-fiving. And in between all that action, we’re eating delicious food together.
That’s right, it’s football season. And that means our slow cooker is busy every weekend cooking the food we’re going to eat during the afternoon games. Because, to be honest, we want to eat lots of good food while our favorite team is making great plays, but we don’t want to get stuck working at the stove in the kitchen during all the touchdowns.
So, to celebrate football, we’re giving away a 6-quart All-Clad slow cooker to two (2) lucky random winners.
The 3-setting programmable timer on the slow cooker comes in real handy on Sunday afternoons. We just set the timer to high or low (whatever the recipe calls for) and then program in the cooking time. When the timer beeps, the slow cooker automatically changes to the warm setting. This keeps food nice and hot without overcooking it, so we don’t have to worry about the food burning while our eyes are glued to the screen during an intense moment during the game.
And if you need the recipe for Quick and Easy Nacho Dip or May-I-Have-More Party Meatballs, just open your new cookbooks. That’s right, along with the slow cooker, we’re giving away the entire Fix-It and Forget-It cookbook series to boot. That’s 7 books in all! The series includes: Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook Revised and Updated , Fix-It and Forget-It Lightly Revised and Updated, Fix-It and Forget-It 5-Ingredient Favorites, Fix-it and Forget-It Christmas Cookbook, Fix-It and Forget-It Diabetic Cookbook, Fix-It and Forget-It Kids’ Cookbook, and last, but not least, Fix-It and Forget-It Big Cookbook.
Phyllis will autograph them and even personalize them, if you wish.
(All-Clad doesn’t know how much we love football or that we’re giving away these slow cookers.)
