Slow Cooker Giveaway!

Stay or Go

Okay, so some of us have a lead foot and take corners a little too fast when driving. (We won’t mention any names.) That means, every now and then, when those speedy drivers are taking Ham and Potato Chowder, for instance, to a potluck, the slow cooker in the backseat of the car rocks from side to side just a bit. And then, once in a while, on an especially sharp corner, that slow cooker tips right over and all that scrumptious soup flies everywhere.

Actually, that’s happened to more than one of us, and that’s one reason why we’re giving away the 6-quart Hamilton Beach Stay or Go slow cooker and two 1.5-quart Procter Silex slow cookers to one random winner. All three slow cookers’ lids can be securely attached so we can drive to our potlucks spill-free.

The 6-quart Hamilton Beach Stay or Go has settings for High, Low, and Warm so you can make your favorite meal ahead of time and keep it warm until it’s time to eat. The slow cooker crock is also dishwasher safe. But perhaps one of our favorite features of this slow cooker is that there’s a place on the handle of the lid to store a spoon! Now you won’t forget your favorite serving spoon when you’re heading out the door.

The 1.5-quart Proctor Silex also has settings for High, Low, and Keep Warm and the crocks can go in the dishwasher. This slow cooker is ideal for all those delicious appetizers and dips. And because, you can win two in this giveaway, you can have Hot Beef Dip and Hot Broccoli Dip going at the same time!

(Hamilton Beach and Proctor Silex don’t know how fast we take corners or that we’re giving away these slow cookers.)

TO ENTER

To enter our giveaway, just answer the following question in the comments section of this blog.

What’s your favorite appetizer to make in the slow cooker?

So just scroll down to the very bottom of the page, type your answer into the comments section, and you’re entered to win! (Or, just “hi.” We like that too.)

THE RULES

Just one entry per person. (If you would like to respond to another entry, don’t worry, duplicate comments will be weeded out so everyone has an equal chance to win.)

No entries after 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) Wednesday, October 12. We’ll post the lucky, random winner here on Thursday (October 13). Check back here to see if you won!

(The winners will be chosen completely at random. Winning is not based on the quality of your response.)

      >I love to make a conqueso dip. It includes 1 roll of sausage, 1 large block velveeta cheese, 1 small block velveeta cheese, a jar of your favorite salsa (mine is mild) , and two to three cups of milk as needed. Add a bag of tortilla chips and your done. My family loves this recipe. I make for football get togethers , family get togethers , or church socials.
