Slow Cooker Recipe

No Explanation Needed

Asian-Style Country Ribs

There is really no explanation for why I love this recipe—except that it is juicy, it is flavorful, it is unique. And it takes 10 minutes to prepare. Nothing compares to the aroma of the savory, yet sweet, sauce when you walk in the door after a day away. And the taste? Incredible!

So, I guess I do have an explanation. It is plain and simply good.

Hi, what about cooking time in the oval size crockpot? I received one as a gift & it cooks a bit fast & I’m not sure how to adjust recipes in this larger crock? Thanks for suggestions :)

Hi Danielle! This recipes does best in a 5-quart slow cooker. The size of your slow cooker is more important than the shape. Recipes come out best when slow cookers are about 2/3 full. Because slow cookers cook at various temperatures and rates of speed, we recommend you keep an eye on your recipe as it cooks. Make a note beside the recipe in your cookbook for how long the recipe took in your particular slow cooker. This way, you will know how long to cook it the next time. Thanks for your question. Happy slow cooking!

Danielle – shape has nothing to do with it. It is all in the volumne. How many qts. is yours. this recipe says 5-qts. Good luck w/your crock. I love mine and use it all the time.

Just hi-light with the right click on the mouse, go to file, then down to print, check the selection button (indicates you only want to print the selected portion), then hit print.

To print: Left click your mouse at the beginning of the recipe or part you want to print, and drag the mouse down to the bottom of the recipe and then let off the button. This highlights the recipe (can include the pictures). Then press Control P to print. Choose to print the “Selection” instead of “All” so it will only print the highlighted area. Hope this helps!
