The bright yellow buses are back on the street. That means two things at our house:
1. School is back in session.
2. It’s time to fire up our slow cookers .
School nights can be really busy. Homework. Sports practice. Piano lessons. School projects. With all the activity that the school schedule brings, who has time to cook a healthy meal?
That’s why we love the 6-quart All-Clad Slow Cooker. This baby is our best friend when we’re running all day long. It’s the perfect fit for roasts, one-pot meals, bread, and those must-have desserts. And it holds enough food to feed the entire family, plus any friends that tag along home.
One of our favorite features is the 3-setting programmable timer. Set the timer to high or low (whatever the recipe calls for) and then program in the number of hours the food should cook. When the timer beeps, the slow cooker automatically changes to the warm setting. This keeps food nice and hot without overcooking it.
So to celebrate the new school year and stress-free week night meals, we’re giving away this All-Clad Slow Cooker to two (2) lucky random winners.
And if you need a few ideas of what to make in that shiny new slow cooker, we’re giving away the entire Fix-It and Forget-It cookbook series along with it. That’s 7 books in all! The series includes: Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook Revised and Updated , Fix-It and Forget-It Lightly Revised and Updated, Fix-It and Forget-It 5-Ingredient Favorites, Fix-it and Forget-It Christmas Cookbook, Fix-It and Forget-It Diabetic Cookbook, Fix-It and Forget-It Kids’ Cookbook, and last, but not least, Fix-It and Forget-It Big Cookbook.
Phyllis will autograph them and even personalize them, if you wish.
(All-Clad doesn’t know that we’re celebrating school and stress-free meals by giving away their sleek slow cookers.)
To enter our giveaway, just answer the following question in the comments section of this blog.
