My youngest daughter is very neat and tidy. So, when I first showed her how to chop an onion, she particularly liked the precise cubes of onion that we produced. Now she practices cutting perfect pieces each and every time she dices an onion.
But no matter how often my daughter practices her knife skills, she still gets kind of messy when she chops an onion because she can’t stop crying. One whiff of the onion and the tears start to form.
Here at The Good Cooking Store, we are happy we found a solution for this problem: Onion Goggles. Now my daughter can cut her onions tear-free. Check it out:
You may have seen Onion Goggles featured recently on an episode of Modern Family. If not, click here for a brief segment and a good laugh (please excuse a couple salty words).
So, if you want to stop crying over your onions (or whatever you may be crying about as you chop and slice), pick up a pair of Onion Goggles. These goggles are comfortable and fit most face shapes. Now everyone in the family can join in the chopping. In fact, they might volunteer!
Onion Goggles are available from The Good Cooking Store and they do ship. Click here for information on how to reach them.
