I’ve got this eternal itch to find tasty recipes that are good for Merle and me—but that don’t call for some ingredient that will have me making phone calls to find it, or touring half a dozen food shops to track it down.
I’m looking for sturdy, hearty, yummy, healthy recipes that won’t have me prowling the cupboards for a cookie an hour after I’ve eaten.
Well, apparently I’m not the only one with this New Year’s resolution that keeps coming back. Look what I found Mr. New-York-Times-Food-Columnist, Mark Bittman, writing about this week. Good-sounding recipes that are far from fancy.
